Life is Good - Art of Optimism

A couple of weeks ago I was asked to shoot an event called Art of Optimism for the Life is Good Kids Foundation. The event is meant to celebrate those who are dedicating their lives to helping children heal from early childhood trauma — the group includes teachers, social workers, counselors and more.

It was a beautiful early autumn evening at the Artists For Humanity building in South Boston, with lots of balloons, burgers (B.Good) and pizza (Pastoral). So many inspiring people under one roof!

Brunswick Park Launch Party

Brunswick Park has had an ridiculously successful Kickstarter campaign for their line of "smarter apparel" — merino wool clothing designed to be worn both to the gym and the office. They've already raised three times their goal, with five more days still left to go. Check out their video and grab yourself a sweet jacket here.

Last week they threw a party at Adelson Galleries for their backers and I was asked to document it. (Loved the bullet sculptures on the wall by Frederico Uribe too!)

United Staging at NYFW 2015

The talented folks at United Staging created an amazing landscape for New York's Fashion Week this summer, and asked me to come document their setup on Pier 26.

I'm not a morning person by any means, but when they asked me to arrive at 7:30am before they began dismantling, I couldn't be happier. Morning light, right on the ocean, with the skyline behind us? Sign me up, always.

NYFW 2015

The main tent was nothing short of epic, taking up nearly the entire width of the pier with 4 entrances along the sides.
